Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was an overall fantastic break. The rooms were very spacious and well-maintained, with an extra-large extremely comfortable bed, perfect for big family gatherings. The only downside was that the carpet needed replacing and could do with a little freshening up. But regardless of that, it was a fantastic experience.
The hotel offers a unique mix of old and modern charm, especially in the bathroom facilities, making it a clean and welcoming place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, although they can be a bit creaky and lack double glazing. The service is top-notch, with a festive dining experience and knowledgeable staff, although they might lack formal training. The location is picturesque, perfect for exploring the North Yorkshire Dales and enjoying beautiful spring blooms, but the pool temperature and hot tub size could be better. The dining experience at Samuels in the hotel is excellent, showcasing quality produce, although more variety in fruit salads would be appreciated.
